Recent happenings:

• I got my admission statement today! The school itself isn’t hard to get into, but I was apprehensive of the outcome because it was the only school I applied to, without any backup plans in mind, so I’m relieved that I got in.
• I wish the weather would stop its raging hormones because it’s been raining a lot lately, with the sun spontaneously shining, then receding behind the clouds again. I have a love-hate relationship with this weather; I prefer staying inside, warm and protected, listening to the rainfall in the quiet instead of trekking in the wetness and risk my face getting bubbled up with pimples. Every time it rains, I swear. My parents don’t believe me and say it’s because I don’t get enough sleep, but I think otherwise! It could be a contributing factor, though.
• I’ve been practicing with some members of Asian Club to dance for Multicultural Night. We’ll be doing a dance cover of “2PM – I Hate You,” and it just so happens that I’ve been chosen to be Junsu. They really like to expose me a lot It’s a conspiracy! If a video of our performance is uploaded, I suppose I’ve no shame in showing you guys my mediocre dancing, haha. It’s all in good fun, right?!

• Lastly, I can’t believe it’s March already?! The months are going by fast, and in roughly two in a half months I’ll be graduating high school. But other than that, there are no minimum-days or three-day weekends this month, so that really bums me out… things have been hectic lately.

Lately I’ve been wanting a pair of headphones, and lo-and-behold, I came across these beauties by ZUMREED. I really like their aesthetics — simple, shiny, compact (right), and all around awesome looking. They come in different colors such as pink, light blue, lime yellow, black, red, and violet. I personally love the white and lime yellow ones, though, leaning a little more towards the white.

I ask and spend, but I earn them (academically) before asking, so it’s okay for me to indulge myself with materialistic things, AMIRITE? I’ll wait on these, though.

This is when I have so many things to talk about, random pictures to post, and when I can’t find my words.

• Started second semester last Monday.
• Trying to break my habit of sleeping late (past midnight); so far so good.
• Had a long-distance phone call with my cousin. When he called me, he was in Korea, but he’s probably in the middle of the ocean right now heading for his next stop: Malaysia. He told me stories about his shipmates and a beautiful Korean girl he met.
• Went to Japan Town with a friend in search of 別冊マーガレット at Kinokuniya Bookstore for Kimi ni Todoke December furoku; we ended up finding only one in stock. I was also looking forward to eating some chocolate-banana flavored taiyaki, but it was sold out — chocolate too! Ate a creamy French baguette from Andersen Bakery instead.
• In addition to Japantown, we went to check out the New People store just across the street. The merchandise they sold there were interesting, fresh, and cute. I’d definitely go back to see the art gallery, as this is where I came across the work of Noritake, one of the currently featured artists. Noritake uses simple lines and minimal color, which I simply adore.
• “Avatar”; disregarding that it was an over-hyped movie, I enjoyed it. Funny thing happened to my friend who has a long braided tail, and it starts off with two women whispering, “Look at that boy, he has a tail! O_O”, face expression and all.
• “青い鳥 / Aoi Tori” (Hiroshi Abe, Kanata Hongo); slice of life, modest teacher, friends, bullying. The movie was going at a rather slow pace, but I intended to finish it, and I’m glad I did because it was worth it.
• Currently watching “크리스마스에 눈이 올까요? / Will it Snow for Christmas” — can I say that Go Soo is very handsome?! His eyes are so captivating, they make my heart flutter
